T O P I C R E V I E Walvarella777Hi folks.I wonder how much importance you all attach to your personal Solar return-charts. I am very unsure about their impact/meaning. Did it proof to be valuable for some of you?Aren't they just a "one day"-chart - like a weather report for your specific birthday in the respective year? Do you believe that it will influence the next year for you?I was also wondering: Did some of you experiment with comparing the Solar return chart to your natal chart - via Synastry, for instance? I guess that this could make sense, since it tells which planets/points in your natal chart are triggered ...What's your take on that?amowlsThe only way to get a complete picture of a SR chart is to overlay it with your natal. So yes, I do do that haha.I like the SR more than progressions because its more obvious to me. My solar return predicted a car accident (I totaled my car last month) and depression regarding relationships (which turned out to be also true). Stuff that I wouldn't have expected.GlaucusSolar Returns work, and I find that they even work with asteroids too....not just the major asteroids but name asteroids...like romantic partners names could be aspecting your Sun,Moon,Venus,Ascendant,and/or Midheaven. I have seen this in solar returns. They are great year long forecasts. The same with Lunar Returns. They work the same way. They are great month long forecasts. You can read both charts by themselves. You can also secondary progressions with them, transits, and even synastry.I have 2 books on solar returns, and I have 2 report programs on solar returns.I have 1 book on lunar returns, and I have 1 report program on lunar returns. So yeah....I strongly believe in them. I use them as a guide too.------------------Stop The Misdiagnosing Of Neurodivergents http://www.thepetitionsite.com/1/stop-the-misdiagnosing-of-neurodivergents alvarella777AMOWLS: I did a Synastry with my natal chart and the current/undergoing SR for me -and was astonished about how "telling" this was - REALLY insightful and quite concrete in many aspects! This was especially insightful since my next birthday will come up in about 5 weeks - so at I am at the end of the current SR ... and so had the possibility to compare to the last Solar-year (which is running for one month more) - my experience was quite fresh, but enough "life material" had happened during these last 11 months - so that I could really see how detailed that SR-natal-Synastry was. THANKS FOR SPURING ME ON TO DO THAT! ;-) (I immediately did the same with the upcoming SR for the season 2007/2008 of course, my SR will start in the middle of July ... Woah ... I saw intersting things there!Another question, AMOWLS: Sorry to hear about your accident - hope there are no wounds left, neither physically, nor emotionally. Would you like to tell us, WHAT exactly you saw in your SR that gave a hint on that? You checked it afterwards, right? Please - I'd be VERY interested to learn more about your SR-experience.GLAUCUS: Thanks to you too - for the LUNAR-RETURN-idea. I am just not so sure what this is about? Would you set the beginning of the LR at that moment when the Moon reaches your birth-position again, the dg of that respective sign? And count one month from then? (So: Suppose your Moon'd be in 10° Taurus - LR would start when Moon hits that position again?) Thanks for your answers so far! ;.)
